sigh, sometimes I just want to sit on the couch with them, and hold them hoping that will slow down time a bit...it doesn't. It just makes them bored and squiggly..

It does go too fast. i remember when Jake was young he'd be sitting on the couch, I'd be in my office, which was just a cubicle in the basement, and he'd yell, "CUDDLES!" I'd drop everything and go sit with him and watch "Lots and Lots of Trains" for the 5,673 time. And sometimes I'd be irritated because I needed to get something done. Now I long for the days as he skulks through the kitchen "whatever"-ing me...
