I am not a hot-weather girl.
I burn.
I wilt.
I frizz.
I whine.
But there is at least one thing I do like more about summer than any other time of year . . . sandals!
How great to slip on a pair and run out the door.
I just bought myself a pair of Birkenstocks just like this:
I anticipate wearing these babies down to the cork!

these days I tend to wear flipflops - I have Joe's cast offs as he had a huge growth spurt - we have just binned his very worn school shoes as school's out today.
I bought some comfy mlues to wear in London & they are cool with very soft leather and were in the sale too.
I have a pair of Dr. Marten's. They are quite heavy, but I love them. Mike and I both wear them, and they are nearly worn out. At least the heels are. My aunt bought them for me quite a few years ago, though. I may have to take them in to get the leather heels fixed.

I used to wear Birkenstocks a lot. Then I got a bone spur in my heel and had to give them up. Now I wear Chaco sandals every single day of the spring, summer, and fall. They are the perfect food bed for me, and go with everything. And always painted toes.
My favorites are actually flip flops. They are "Yellow Box." The most comfortable flipflops in the world! I have eight pairs! LOL

Nope...the Hamlin's/Rinna's passed on bye bye...oh well...at least they didn't rip the camera out of my paws and stomp on it....Lisa, I think would be good about this...she's cool!
It's a toss-up between my Keens and flipflops. My Birkys have had it....they are totally worn out on one side. In the sand of course bare foot!

Yes - my absolute favourites are my FIT flops (not flip flops) as they are soooo comfortable I wear them every day from 1st June, whether it rains or not!!! They are amazing - I now have 2 pairs. Highly recommended, and they are supposed to firm your butt too!!
