Honor and Remember

Arlington Cemetery Changing of the Guard at The Tomb of The Unknowns

The Tomb contains the remains of unknown American soldiers from World Wars 1 and II, the Korean Conflict and (until 1998) the Vietnam War.

The Tomb is guarded 24-hours-per-day and 365-days-per year by specially trained members of the 3rd United States Infantry.

May they, and all others, always be honored and remembered.

Nicely put. So easy to take our lives for granted.

It is so important that we remember those who gave their lives so that we can have the freedoms that we enjoy. Thanks for posting. My dad was a Korean Conflict Veteran. All 3 of his brothers were in WWII, and I have cousins that were in Vietnam. We can take it all for granted, but I try not to. Have a great weekend. My dh & I are flying home to MI tomorrow from the UK. I have had a wonderful time, but am longing to see my children. : )
Blessings,
Tricia
