I'm finding the world a rough place lately. Maybe you are, too. People seem to be so coarse, so unkind, so hard on each other. Not all, of course.

But, God help me, the hard ones seem to stay with me longer.

I came across this charming little video a while back, and thought you might like it, too. It takes a few moments and a bit of patience and good humor, but I send it out to you to watch if you choose.

I wish the sentiments would ripple out far and wide.

My warmest wishes for a nice day,

It's after midnight, but once I started watching that video I had to see it through to the end. Loved it.
Thanks so much for sharing it.
Now, please go to a mirror and give yourself a smile. You're gorgeous. That dress matches your eyes. No, really, you're wonderful.
Have a lovely day!

Sounds like you need to sit down with a big bowl of blueberry-buttermilk sherbert and watch a good comedy. I'm a Robin Williams fan, myself.

-smile- I remember seeing this before. Thank you for reintroducing me to it.

And I'm very sorry that the world is being a rough place, of late.

Gentle hugs...

I'm sorry you have been feeling down, Renee. I agree about people and rudeness. I think everyone is feeling the stress of the world, but I think Eleanor Roosevelt was the one that said, you can tell a lot about a person when they are put into boiling water. It's best when you turn into tea. Or something along that line. Off to watch the video now.

It kept cutting out but I got the jist ( just one face there that made me uncomfortable though )
I find if you say just ONE nice thing to someone at least every day - you feel good ( and they certiianly do ! )

Hey, I just recently found a GREAT blogger.....YOU!!!!
Thanks so much for this. Yes, the world can be rough sometimes but I guess one has to look around and start noticing the good things more often.
I will certainly pass this on.

I saw this video last year and loved it! Don't you wish we could all feel validated, appreciated, loved, unconditionally!

I've missed seeing your blog over the last week or so.

I think you're terrific. Any time you need any validation, please come by and visit. I think I need to be a validator tomorrow. That would certainly surprise everyone at work -- might make my day, too.
