Reeling
I just found out a friend of mine has multiple brain tumors that must be removed as soon as possible.
I'm reeling.
People are strong, I know.
We all do what we need to do in situations to move forward.
But that poor woman. That poor family. Those poor kids.
Life just seems to keep getting harder. Don't you think? Am I the only one who feels like the older I get, the harder things get?
I think we all need a break.
When the hell is recess.

I'm sad to hear about your friend. What devastating news. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I haven't been posting much lately - this is a busy time of year for me. But it is so nice to have a comment from you.
Blessings,
Tricia
Life can be beautiful. Life can be sad. Life moves on resiliently. I will pray with you.

I'm so sorry to hear this news about your friend. I feel the same - life does seem to get harder. I will certainly keep your friend in my thoughts.

I am so sorry! I agree that life is just getting harder, but we can make it. A local radio station here was talking about realizing they were adults when they did not get summer break from work. I had to laugh when I saw your recess question!
I have been a nurse for 25 years....
you , she and the family will get through all this the best way you/they all can!

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.
If her family stays by her side she will get through it. It will be tough, but when you have your family and friends pulling for you,
it matters.

Where the hell, indeed. It is awful for her family, but I know first hand how this affects friends. My best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. She has five kids, all adopted from foster care. I could do a whole mini series on their family, but the point is, that it's nearing the end for her, and it affects me on a primal level.
I am so sorry.
I am so sorry, sweetie! Prayers are lifted for her & her family. It just isn't fair some of the paths we must all travel in life.
Happy Easter ~

Rene,
While it seems extra scary that your friend has brain tumors, I have 4 stories of hope to share with you! I have 4 friends who have had brain tumors and all are alive and healthy and happy today. It's a tough thing to go through and she will need good friends to help her out. She's lucky to have you!

I think maybe we already had recess.
Now, we have to pray for sunshine on the weekend.
You and your friend are in my prayers.
That is awful news. Wishing you all strength and love.
That's sad about your friend, Renee'. It will be hell for her and her family, but they will make it through with strong will, and resilience..
Such sad news. I will remember to add your friend to my prayers. And yes, I am experiencing lots of this type of news lately too. It can leave you reeling. Blessings to you.

That's bloody awful. It is.
I'm supporting a friend going through Hell & wish I had a bloody magic wand to make it all better. So sorry
Sorry to hear this sad news...I know of a man who had a similar diagnosis and after surgery is very healthy - you never know! Stay positive!
Sorry.
that's pretty full-on. And totally sucky.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I can and will pray too.
Sorry to hear about your friend. That's hard news. I'll meet you by the swings if we ever get recess.
