Oh no!.. I have seen this and KNOW exactly how you feel! I don't, however, know what's happening this year, as we seem to keep "just missing" all the big storms so far! Not that I'm complaining, but it's just very unusual for us! Ugh! what a picture.. Wish I was there to help you out! Good luck with it all. I'm wishing you lots of sunshine and hope it all melts soon! ~tina
I didn't know you lived in the tundra! Good Lord! Now I feel bad for whining about our 8 inches of snow. It really did suck and I'm really glad I'm not visiting your house! However, if you would like to come to NC, most is melted now. I love that your dog is hovering under the table. I think that means he is very smart! I hope you were taking photos from the kitchen window! Anna
Oh my goodness, I just can't believe all the pics I've seen on the Internet just like this one. I hope you all are defrosting by now. Looooved the little helper under the table. : ) M.L.
You are excused. That snow is amazing (coming from someone who doesn't have snow here ever). How do you people live with so much of that white stuff!!???! Good luck!
“Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, ‘In this world, Elwood, you must be...’ - she always called me Elwood - ‘...in this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.’ Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.”~Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey
I am a stay-at-home mom who is coming to grips with the fact that my children are growing up, and that is bitter sweet. I have several pets who understand me including a couple dogs, some beautiful pigeons (yes, pigeons), some chickens who boss me around, and a mourning dove who I believe is God's little whisper to me from heaven. I was a lawyer before I got really serious and became a mom. I love to knit, write, cook, and to take good care of my family. We struggle with my daughter's Reactive Attachment Disorder, and hold hands very tightly sometimes while we withstand the high tide of her challenges. Through it all, I am blessed to have a husband who is the corner piece to my puzzle.

Dear God, I want no part of that. None what so ever!

Oh my! I hope all the birds are holding up okay!! We only got a few inches, but we're supposed to get more starting tonight.
That's amazing, I would love to experience that one day.
Stay safe there in MD. Looking at your snowfall, we really did get off relatively easy here on the NJ coast ~ Love that doggie ;o)
Hugs, Nancy & Angus
